We have some exciting news!!! Skinny Bitch Jesus Meeting will be taking an nyc hiatus for the second half of June to participate in the Voice and Vision ENVISION Retreat! We were selected as one of six artists (we count as one because we share ovaries) out of a shitload of applicants, and, not to brag or anything, but you know who has done this retreat in past years? Olympia Dukakis. Estelle Parsons. Fuckin’ a bunch of people who have been on Oprah and shit. Will they like our poo jokes? Probably not! BUT WE’RE GONNA BE SO ZEN FROM ALL THE YOGA AND PERFORMANCE ART THAT IT AIN’T EVEN GONNA MATTER! Seriously, we are incredibly humbled and honored to have this opportunity and we can’t wait to make something new and awesome!
ALSO, the lineup has just been unleashed for the OUT OF BOUNDS Festival and we’ll be performing Thursday night, September 1st at the Hideout. We love Austin!
